Dan is pleased to be an official endorser of the following products:

P Mauriat PMXT 66R tenor

"I feel that P Mauriat just got everything right with their tenors.  They have the even tone quality, great intonation and easy response of a modern horn, and the sound of classic vintage horns.  The first time I played my Mauriat tenor, I realised how many tiny adjustments I had had to make on my previous instrument (considered a 'classic'), just to make an even sound.  Playing  a Mauriat allows me to focus all my energy on the music, and not on making the horn play!"

Jody Jazz DV NY 8 tenor mouthpiece

I play on a size 8 Jody Jazz DV NY tenor mouthpiece. The DV NY gives me a big, colourful and rich sound, and lets me move the air column quickly for clean articulation. Before playing this mouthpiece, I felt like I had to choose between sound quality or articulation. With the Jody Jazz, I get the best of both worlds.

P Mauriat PMSS 64 soprano

"I really like this horn!  I was able to collect it from the store and gig with it straight out of the box.  The tuning is that good and consistent across the entire range, something that is hard to find on sopranos.  It has obviously been put together really well, looks good, and is the lightest soprano I've ever played.  For its performance, ease of use, tuning, and lightness, it is a hard act to beat!"

Bosken TO66H Vintage Brass handmade tenor neck

Playing with a Bosken TO66H neck has made a huge impact on my sound. The TO66H model gives me access to classic vintage tonal characteristics: a warm, focused sound, full of colour and nuance. The neck helps me get to the tone I want with ease. Its like playing through a great microphone and pre-amp: you don't have to do anything different, but you sound better!
